TOWSON UNIVERSITY

The challenge: Towson University had a patchwork of sites with their own designs and navigation -- like a city with no urban planning. The university wanted to have a consistent look and feel and navigation to create a unified brand identity and an easier, more user friendly experience for people using the site.

The solution: The University Communications & Marketing Department hired me to direct an enterprise-wide site redesign for Towson University from discovery and design to implementation and rollout. I also oversaw multiple other projects — from a redesign of the Undergraduate Admissions and College of Business and Economics sites to the creation of online marketing and communications campaigns for various departments.

I managed project timelines, cross-functional teams, and outside vendors and I worked with stakeholders across the university from the school’s president to deans, professors, and administrative assistants.

The site has since been redesigned again.
