I worked on a number of projects for PDK, a leading national non-profit advocacy and research group for teachers and administrators. I conducted research and stakeholder interviews, created site architecture and wireframes, developed content, and produced several user-friendly, responsive websites for PDK, including: pdkinternational.org, the main organizational site for PDK; pdkpoll.org, for the PDK poll; pdkpoll.org/timeline, celebrating 50 years of the PDK poll; and pdksolutions.org, for PDK's consulting division.
Case Study
PDK Poll 50th Anniversary Website
The challenge: The client needed a new website to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the PDK Poll, a trusted source of public opinion about K-12 education because of its rigor, its depth, and its commitment to capturing all voices and viewpoints. We had already redesigned a new site for the PDK Poll as well as for the larger organization, PDK International.
The solution: We created site architecture, developed content, and designed and built a new, responsive, easy to use and easy to updates site for the PDK Poll's 50th Anniversary. The redesign of the PDK poll site resulted in almost 26% more users than previous years.
